Tiffany & Co. presented the National Football League with the Vince Lombardi Trophy of Super Bowl XLIII during a breakfast at its Tampa store before a select audience. In attendance were Mike Alstott, former fullback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1996–2007); Lee Roy Selmon, Hall of Fame defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1976–85); Vinny Testaverde, former quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1987–92) and the New York Jets (1989–2003 and 2005) who finished his career with the Carolina Panthers (2007); and Hall of Fame member Michael Haynes, currently NFL vice president of player and employee development.
After the trophy was unveiled, NFL Security transported it to the NFL Experience—adjacent to Raymond James Stadium, site of Super Bowl XLIII—where it was displayed until the Super Bowl.
